Pure Dance Company Inc. presents the Portland Premeire of "A WAY WITH WORDS". An invigorating production that investigates the rich lessons of life that maybe bring us comfort or pause. Combining athleticism, expression, passion, and lyricism, Pure Dance has created an eclectic evening of movement that explores the quotes, proverbs, and idioms that guide us through life.

About Pure Dance Company
In 2004 Sonya Duffin founded Pure Dance Company with a dream of building a deeper appreciation for artistic jazz dance in the Portland dance community. Pure Dance, thus relatively new, boasts a highly technical and unique group of seasoned dancers who have adapted beautifully to the artistic choreography of Sonya Duffin. The company consists of 14 trained and talented dancers. The choreography combines an emotive and explosive Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern and Lyrical Dance, giving it an edgy feel. Pure Dance also invites young dancers to become Apprentices to their company. Their participation in the performances, training with the company, and stage experience becomes an invaluable tool in their education and helps to inspire them towards a career in dance.
